Plus-Size Models in Ads Cause Low Self-Esteem, Study Claims

I’ve seen this study flying around, and wonder if they’ve ever done one to see if thin models cause low self esteem. To me, it seems that the operative word here is MODELS. Not plus size, not “standard size” but models. Especially with how prevalent photoshopping women into barbie dolls is nowdays, I think it’s likely that what’s causing the low self esteem is seeing impossibly beautiful women that the average woman knows she will never ever look like. Whether they’re a size 0 or a size 14 is immaterial.
